About Us
We’re the husband-and-wife team behind Scott Bucket List Travel.
Travel has taken us down American highways, aboard ships and trains, and across Europe by car. Some of our favorite memories have come from having the freedom to explore independently — getting behind the wheel, leaving the major cities behind, finding small towns and villages, following scenic roads, and discovering places we never would have experienced from a tour bus.
Our idea of a great trip has never been limited to famous landmarks. We love the places in between — the old railroad stations, historic hotel lobbies, forgotten highways, neon motel signs still glowing after seventy years, and the unexpected stops that become some of the best memories of the entire trip.
That love of the road eventually inspired our book, Road Trippers: America’s Classic Motor Lodges, celebrating the classic motels and roadside places that helped shape American travel.
Today, we bring that same curiosity, independence, and firsthand travel experience to the journeys we plan for our clients. Whether you dream of a European road trip, a train journey, a cruise, or an American adventure, we believe the best trips are the ones that leave room for discovery.
